Honey (425g)
£6.00
Harvested September 2024.
This comes from the honeybee hives in our orchard. They are surrounded by ancient meadows and woodland. This year the main honey flow seemed to come from birdsfoot trefoil, knapweed and bramble.
This type of honey is sometimes called ‘raw’ or unpasteurised. We just call it ‘real’ honey. All we do is remove it from the hive (leaving the bees plenty to get through winter), spin it from the comb and pass it through fine mesh before bottling.
We never use any chemicals on our bees and disturb them as infrequently as possible.
Delivery note: if you order with some plants we will deliver it all together in March but if you order the honey seperately we will send immediately.
